In this season of Advent, we expectantly await the birth of Christ. We prepare our hearts and minds to receive God’s presence among us. Join us this coming month as we follow the star to the Christ. Mark your calendars for these special events:
Hanging of the Greens (Nov. 30)
Join us Wednesday, November 30th at 7PM for our Hanging of the Greens service. We will hear scripture, sing songs, and reflect on the symbols of the season. This worship service in the Chapel is preceded by a catered meal. The dinner line opens at 6pm. Cost for dinner is $6 per person; $4 per student; $3 per child; $15 per family. A brief time of prayer, announcements, and packing the backpacks will begin at 6:30PM before the Hanging of the Greens. Childcare will be provided for children five years of age and under.
Church-wide Christmas Party (Dec. 14)
Join us for our annual Christmas party on Wednesday, December 14! We’ll have activities for all ages, sing some Christmas carols, and hear the Christmas story. We’ll enjoy our regular catered meal at 6PM. Bring a dessert if you’re able and let’s get into the holiday spirit!
Christmas Caroling (Dec. 18)
All are invited to raise your voice in joyful song as we visit the homes of our homebound friends. This is a much anticipated time for those who are unable to regularly gather with us for church events. It’s also a lot of fun for carolers of all ages! We’ll gather at the church at 3:30PM on Sunday, December 18.
Christmas Eve Worship Service (Dec. 24)
All are welcome for this traditional service beginning at 5PM. Come and reflect on the mystery and miracle of God revealed to us through Jesus. Enjoy carols, candlelight, and the Christmas story. Childcare will be provided for children five years of age and under.
Lessons and Carols (Dec. 25)
Join us on Christmas morning for our Festival of Lessons and Carols at 10:30AM in the Chapel. There will be no other Sunday morning activities.
