Thank you to all who participated in the youth sponsored Advent Blessing Box collection of food items! The youth challenged the church to take a box and each day of Advent to add a food item to be donated to the hungry in our city. Thank you to all who adopted this Advent practice and helped to feed our neighbors in need!
All of the donated items were delivered to the Oregon Hill Baptist Center, at Pine Street Baptist Church, this week and will be used by OHBC in their ministry with homeless neighbors. OHBC is one our Richmond mission partners through the Baptist network of churches called River City Faith Network.
