Palm Sunday Worship Service

Sunday, April 9 2017

10:30AM, Sanctuary

Sermon by Rev. Mandy England Cole

Anthem by the Chancel Choir

Special Music by Asa Hall and Hannah Polaski, featuring liturgical dance by The Dance Candle

Palm Sunday is the day we remember the “triumphal entry” of Jesus into Jerusalem, exactly one week before we celebrate his resurrection.  On this day, we ask all who are able to gather on the sanctuary steps as we begin worship outdoors before processing into the sanctuary.  As we do, we will wave palm branches, reminiscent of the crowd greeting Jesus.
