We have multiple ways in the next few days to show our support for the students, faculty, and staff of Ginter Park Elementary School as they begin a new school year.
Sunday, September 2, 2018
- 9:00 – 10:00 AM – Help assemble goodie bags for all of the teachers and staff during the traditional Sunday School hour. The bags will include some yummy as well as practical items along with a card and fun alligator clip that we will be assembling! (The school mascot is the Gators.)
- 10:30 – 11:30 AM – During worship, we will pack the first round of 35 backpacks to be distributed to students in the coming weeks. The worship liturgy will include a blessing of our Weekend Backpack Ministry as well as prayers for Ginter Park Elementary School, its students and staff.
Tuesday, September 4, 2018
- 8:30 – 9:00 AM – Come to Ginter Park Elementary School to cheer and welcome back the students on the first day of school. We will meet in the school parking lot at 8:30 for a quick prayer. The busses should begin to arrive by 8:45 and students will enter to grab their breakfast and take it to their classrooms by 9:00.
