We are glad you are here! We hope you will explore our website and learn more about who we are, and, we look forward to having you visit us on Sunday. Here are some commonly asked questions to help you know what to expect when you visit. We hope they help you get to know us, but also feel free to contact us with your questions too.

When is worship?

Morning worship occurs every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM.  Sunday School (for all ages) is every Sunday at 9:15 AM.  In addition, special services are offered throughout various times of the year.

What about children?

Children are an important part of our congregation!  We offer programs for all ages during the Sunday School hour.   Children 5 and over are welcomed into worship.  For children under 5, care is provided during the worship hour.

Where are you located?

We are located at the intersection of Laburnum Avenue and Brook Road.  The church address is 1200 Wilmington Avenue, Richmond VA 23227.

Where should I park?

Our parking lot is accessed from Wilmington Avenue, or, there is on-street parking along Laburnum Avenue and Brook Road.

Where do I go once parked?

Signs mark the way to our Chapel, where we typically worship.  (We occasionally worship in our Sanctuary.  Signs will make the way at these times.)  When you enter the Chapel doors, you will be in the corridor where our adult Sunday school classes meet.  Friendly folks will gladly help you find your way to the classrooms for children, or, to the common area where coffee awaits.

What should I wear?

Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. The only expectation is that you are comfortable.
