Ginter Park Baptist Church has a vibrant student ministry!  While we offer programming that promotes community engagement and spiritual formation, we are a very relational group.  We focus on relationships in our children and youth ministries- our adults know our children and our children know our adults.

Sundays  (9:15AM-10:15AM)
Toddlers – A play-based class for children under 5.
Children – Children are split into two classes (PK-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grades).  They explore the lectionary based Bible story using Spirit & Truth.

Wednesdays (6:30PM)
While the adults are spending the half-hour in spiritual formation programming, the kids will participate in a rotation of ministries:

  • God’s Investigators: Kids learn about God’s creation through science experiments.
  • Missions: The homeless population in the city of Richmond is apparent as we drive through the neighborhoods on our way to work and school.  Together, we make care packages that we keep in our cars for our homeless neighbors.
  • Remembering our Neighbors : We make and decorate cards to send to our homebound friends.

Sundays  (9:15AM-10:15AM)
The youth gather for a time of Bible study using a Narrative Lectionary curriculum that is applicable to teenagers in today’s society.

Other Activities
Our youth support one in another in sports and concerts.  They show up for one another at different events, creating a familial environment.  They spend a week during the summer with other youth groups at Baptist Youth Camp.
