Ginter Park Baptist Church is a community of faith that strives to build relationships among our own people, as well as the greater community.  Below are different opportunities for community engagement.

Wednesday Activities (Beginning September 27!)

Ginter Park Baptist Church is a community of faith that strives to build relationships among our own people, as well as the greater community. Wednesday evenings are full of activity and opportunities for connecting with community, spiritual engagement, and service.  We begin with prayer around the table spread with items to be packed for students at Ginter Park Elementary School as part of our Weekend Backpack Ministry.  After preparing the bags of food to be delivered to the school, we enjoy a shared simple supper at 6:00pm.  The cost is: $6/person, $15/family. First-time guests receive a complimentary meal!  At 6:30pm, we have a forty-five minute Spiritual Engagement program.  Our children enjoy their own class experience and our adults explore a variety of topics.  The last activity of the evening is choir rehearsal, which is open to all!

Book Club

Every few months, our Book Club members gather to discuss the chosen book.  Books we’ve read in the past are My Grandmother Told Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, etc.  Church members host the meetings in their homes and you are most welcome (even if you haven’t read the book)!
