Worship

Worship is the central focus of Ginter Park Baptist Church. While we are Baptist in doctrine and belief, we subscribe to the free church tradition and are not bound to any denominational style or creed. We plan worship services and events using the Ecumenical Lectionary. Our church year begins with the First Sunday of Advent and special emphases include Advent, Lent, Holy Week, and Pentecost, as well as child-centered worship.

Worship planning is a joint effort of the ministerial staff and the Worship Council, which includes representatives from church committees such as Baptism, Communion, Fine Arts, Flowers, and the Deacon Council.
