The Henrico Theatre (305 E. Nine Mile Rd) will be showing the movie Harriet on Sunday, February 9, at 2pm as part of their $1 movie series. Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.
Tickets are just $1 per person and refreshments are available for $1 per item. We will have pizza and salad after worship and then carpool/caravan to the theatre for the show. We will send someone ahead to buy tickets for the group. Please sign up to help us determine how much pizza to purchase and plan to chip in a few dollars to defray the cost.
